I have been in practice for over 30 years and specialised in dealing with people accused of sexual offending for the last 21 years.
I provide a Defence service in relation to people accused of rape, sexual assault, historic sexual abuse, child sex abuse, online grooming, indecent images and any other form of sexual offence.
I have a high percentage “win rate” in relation to cases that go to trial and a high success rate of keeping people out of prison when they plead guilty to certain offences.
I believe that my success in this field can be attributed to an ethic of client care, hard work and a methodical approach to preparing the highest quality Defence Statements, considering a minutiae of cases and instructing barristers where we know each other well and know our own ways of working.
Many of my clients are professionals in their working life, for example, teachers and ex-teachers, nurses, doctors and other professionals in a position of trust.
I also carry out regulatory work for such people before such Regulators as NMC, GDC and so on.
I can therefore dovetail both criminal proceedings and fitness to practice proceedings.
